4

How to Apply — Step-by-Step

The application form is divided into 7 steps. You can navigate between steps. All data is held in your browser session until you submit — nothing is saved until the final step.

1

Step 1: Personal Details

Enter your full name (exactly as on your Madhyamik admit card), date of birth, gender, mobile number, email address, and your current residential address (city, state, pincode). You also select your stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) at this step.

Tips for this step

First name and last name must match your Madhyamik admit card exactly.
Select your stream carefully — you cannot change it after submission. A separate application is required for each stream.
Enter a valid 10-digit mobile number starting with 6–9.
Make sure the email address is correct — your confirmation will be sent there.
2

Step 2: Parent / Guardian Details

Provide details of your Father and Mother. This includes their names, occupations, and mobile numbers. Optionally, fill in a separate parent address if it differs from your current address.

Tips for this step

Father's name and Mother's name are mandatory.
Phone numbers are optional but strongly recommended for contact purposes.
Tick "Same as present address" to auto-fill the parent address field.
3

Step 3: Previous School Details

Enter the name of the school where you studied up to Class X and appeared for the Madhyamik examination. Select your caste/category (General, SC, OBC-A, OBC-B, or ST) — this determines which seat pool you compete in.

Tips for this step

Enter the school name as it appears on your Madhyamik admit card.
Category selection is critical — it affects your seat allocation. Choose correctly.
If you studied at Raiganj Coronation High School, it is pre-selected for you.
4

Step 4: Course & Document Upload

Your course (Higher Secondary) and academic year (2026–27) are pre-filled. Upload three mandatory documents: your passport-size photograph, your signature image, and your Madhyamik Board Marksheet.

Tips for this step

Photograph: JPEG or PNG only, maximum 200 KB. Use a clear, recent photo with a light background.
Signature: JPEG or PNG only, maximum 50 KB. Sign on white paper and photograph it clearly.
Board Marksheet: PDF, JPG, or PNG, maximum 500 KB. Must show all subject marks clearly.
All three uploads are mandatory — the form will not proceed without them.
5

Step 5: Academic Details & Subjects

Enter your Madhyamik 2026 Roll Number, your total marks, your Mathematics marks, and your Geography marks. Then choose your 4 optional subjects for the stream you selected in Step 1.

Tips for this step

Enter marks exactly as shown on your marksheet. Mathematics and Geography are used as tiebreakers in the merit list.
Total marks must be between 0 and 700.
For the Arts stream: Geography as a subject is only available if your Madhyamik Geography marks are 75 or above.
You cannot select both Computer Application and Music simultaneously.
Subject choices cannot be changed after submission — choose carefully.
6

Step 6: Declaration

Read the full declaration statement carefully and tick the checkbox to confirm that all information you have provided is true, complete, and correct.

Tips for this step

Submission of false or misleading information will result in immediate cancellation of admission without any refund.
By ticking the declaration, you agree to abide by the school's rules and code of conduct.
7

Step 7: Payment

Pay the non-refundable application fee via UPI. A QR code and UPI deep-link are shown on screen. Open any UPI app (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, etc.), pay the exact amount shown, and enter the 12-digit UPI Transaction Reference (UTR) number in the field provided. Then click Submit.

Tips for this step

The UTR number is exactly 12 digits — you can find it in your UPI app's transaction history under "Reference No" or "UTR".
The application fee is non-refundable regardless of selection outcome.
Do not close the browser tab until you see the green confirmation screen with your Admission Number.
A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address upon successful submission.
5

Application Fee & Payment

How to Pay

  1. 1 Open any UPI app on your phone (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)
  2. 2 Scan the QR code shown on Step 7 of the application form
  3. 3 Enter the exact amount shown — do not change it
  4. 4 Complete the payment and note the 12-digit UPI Transaction ID
  5. 5 Enter the Transaction ID in the field on screen and submit your application

⚠ Non-Refundable

The application fee is strictly non-refundable. It is not returned if you are not selected, if you withdraw your application, or if you are found ineligible.

✓ Keep your receipt

Take a screenshot of the UPI payment success screen. You may need it for verification later.

6

Selection Process Explained

Selection is purely merit-based. There are no interviews or entrance exams. Your Madhyamik total marks determine your rank.

How Merit Rank is Calculated

Primary

Madhyamik Total Marks (out of 700) — Higher marks → higher rank

Tie-1

Mathematics Marks — Used if two students have equal total marks

Tie-2

Geography Marks — Used if Mathematics marks are also equal

Tie-3

Date of Birth — Older student gets preference if all marks are equal

Seat Allocation by Category

Seats in each stream are divided into General seats and Reserved seats per category. The allocation happens in this order:

1

Reserved Seats First

Reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC female candidates are filled first, based on merit within each category.

2

General Seats by Category

Remaining seats are filled category-wise (General, OBC, SC, ST) in merit order. Reserved category students can also fill General seats if their marks are good enough.

3

Reservation Upgrade

If a student from SC/ST/OBC scores high enough to compete in the General category, they are upgraded — their reserved seat becomes available for another reserved candidate.

4

Waiting List

Students who could not get a seat in the first round are placed in the Waiting List, ranked by merit within their category.

7

Merit List & Seat Allocation

The merit list is published online on this website. You can check your status under the Merit List section. Three separate lists are published for each stream:

📋

General List

Students selected for general seats, sorted by merit rank

🛡

Reserved List

Students allocated reserved seats (SC/ST/OBC female candidates)

Waiting List

Students waiting for a seat to become available

Status meanings:

Selected You have been provisionally selected. Report for admission.
Admitted Your physical admission has been confirmed by the school office.
Waiting You are on the waiting list. You may be promoted if a seat opens.
Not Selected No seat available in the current round.
8

After Getting Selected

1

Check the Merit List

Visit the Merit List page on this website. Search for your name or admission number. Your status should show "Selected".

2

Visit the School Office

Report to the school office within the stipulated date (announced separately). Bring all original documents and photocopies.

3

Documents to Bring

Original Madhyamik Admit Card, Original Marksheet, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Passport-size photographs (4 copies), Aadhaar Card, UPI payment receipt.

4

Pay Admission Fees

Pay the admission and tuition fees at the school cash counter. Fee structure will be communicated at time of admission.

5

Collect Your Admission Slip

After verification and fee payment, you will receive an official Admission Confirmation slip. Keep it safely — it will be needed on the first day of school.

⚠ Important Deadline

If a selected candidate does not report for admission within the notified deadline, their seat will be forfeited and offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
9

Waiting List — What It Means

Being on the waiting list does not mean your application was rejected. It means seats are currently full, but you will be promoted as seats open.

Seats open up when a selected candidate does not turn up for admission, declines the offer, or is found ineligible during document verification.

Promotion is automatic — when a seat is freed, the highest-ranked waiting candidate in the same category is promoted to Selected status.

Check the website regularly — your status on the merit list will change to "Selected" automatically when promoted. You will need to act quickly to confirm your admission.

Your waiting rank is within your category — Waiting Rank 1 in General means you are the first General category candidate to be promoted when a seat opens.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. You can submit separate applications for different streams (Science, Commerce, Arts) using the same email — one application per stream. You cannot apply for the same stream twice with the same email.
Once submitted, the form cannot be edited online. Contact the school office immediately with your admission number and supporting documents for any correction.
No. The application fee is strictly non-refundable in all circumstances, including if you are not selected or if you withdraw your application.
Yes. Reserved seats are specifically set aside for SC, ST, OBC-A, and OBC-B candidates. Reserved seats are allocated to female candidates of these categories first. Additionally, if your merit score is high enough, you may also compete for a General seat.
The tiebreaker order is: (1) Mathematics marks, (2) Geography marks, (3) Date of Birth — the older student (earlier date of birth) ranks higher if all marks are identical.
UTR stands for Unique Transaction Reference. It is a 12-digit number generated for every UPI payment. You can find it in your UPI app under transaction history — look for "Reference No", "UTR", or "Transaction ID".
The merit list will be published on this website after the application window closes and the school processes all applications. Watch the Notices section on the home page for the exact date.
It is not guaranteed, but many waiting candidates do get promoted. When a selected candidate's seat is freed (they don't report or are denied), the system automatically promotes the highest-ranked waiting candidate in that category.
You must notify the school office in writing before the admission deadline. Your seat will then be freed for the next waiting list candidate.
No. The entire application and payment process is online. You only need to visit the school physically after being selected, to complete the physical admission and document verification.
Any BHIM UPI-compatible app works — PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, Amazon Pay, BHIM, etc. Enter the 12-digit UTR number shown in the payment success screen into the form.
